How to use desktop wallpapers on your computer

It is very easy (even for the computer-challenged) to change the desktop wallpaper on your computer. With one click you will do it! (Screenshot examples below). Directions given are for Internet Explorer. If you use a different browser (such as Firefox or Opera) and these directions don't work on your browser, either open your IE to the same page, or email Lucy Young for help.

Your wallpaper is what you see on your screen, a photo or graphic such as the default Windows logo we all had originally on our screens. Now minimize all your windows and look at your new desktop.

If, for some reason you decide you would like something different, simply find a good photograph on your computer, double click to open it, then right click on photo and choose the option to "set as desktop background" (see my own below).

By doing so, my original USMC wallpaper changed to:

If you have any questions, or these directions are not clear enough, please feel free to email Lucy Young (webmaster).
